Dow drops 150 pts premarket ahead of data
Major stock markets in the United States all turned negative in the premarket on Wednesday as the traders waited for the economic data releases on job cuts, employment changes, manufacturing, and construction spending, scheduled to be published later in the day.
The Dow Jones Industrial Index went down by 0.59% or 153 points at 6:37 am ET, while a minute later, the S&P 500 decreased by 0.40%, and the NASDAQ 100 declined by 0.27%.
The euro lost 0.27% to the dollar to sell for $1.12030 at 6:39 am CET.
