Wells Fargo tells workers to delete TikTok
Wells Fargo told NBC News on Saturday it directed its employees to delete TikTok from their cell phones after President Donald Trump and Secretary Mike Pompeo said the United States may ban the application over security concerns.
“Due to concerns about TikTok’s privacy and security controls and practices, and because corporate-owned devices should be used for company business only, we have directed those employees to remove the app from their devices,” the company said.
Earlier this week, it was reported Amazon.com asked its workers to delete their TikTok accounts for the same reasons, which the tech giant quickly denied.
