Banco de Brasil CEO resigns
Rubem Novaes (pictured), chief executive Banco do Brasil S.A., resigned on Saturday.
The executive said his departure from the state-controlled lender, which is the largest bank by assets in all of Latin America, “is based on his understanding that the company needs renewal to confront coming times with many innovations in the banking system.”
No information was given on who will replace Novaes in the statement.
