Trump accuses big pharma of false advertising
The pharmaceutical companies in the United States are falsely accusing the White House of increasing the medicare premiums, US President Donald Trump stated on Thursday.
Trump took to Twitter to write: “Drug companies, which are being forced by me to substantially reduce Drug Prices, are taking $millions in ads saying I want to increase Medicare Primiums. Wrong, just the opposite! These ads show DRUG PRICES ARE GOING DOWN, and they are not happy! False advertising!”
Last week, a biopharmaceutical and biotechnology trade group PhRMA criticized the executive orders signed by Trump and claimed that the incumbent president is “making it harder to fight” the coronavirus pandemic.
