Kudlow: US economy trending in right direction
United States National Economic Council (NEC) Director Larry Kudlow noted on Thursday that the country’s economy is seemingly “trending in the right direction.”
Speaking in an interview for CNBC after initial jobless claims dropped under one million for the first time since lockdowns began in March, he praised the figures as “very good.”
The White House economic advisor went on to state that lowering the capital gains tax, an idea that President Donald Trump brought up again recently, would assist in increasing individual incomes and would thus boost the overall economic growth.
