Trump’s idea to move US businesses from China unrealistic – Beijing
Spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Zhao Lijian (pictured), asserted on Friday it’s “not feasible nor realistic” to shift US companies from China back to the United States, referring to US President Donald Trump’s claims.
According to the spokesman, it shows that some politicians in Washington “put their party and personal interests above the national interest.”
Speaking at a press briefing in Beijing, he refused to comment on Trump’s remarks that China could “own” the US if Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden wins the November election as “the US presidential election is the US’ internal affairs.”
