China won’t fight cold war with any country – Xi

China’s President Xi Jinping insisted on Tuesday that the fight against the coronavirus pandemic shouldn’t be politicized.

Xi noted in his speech to the United Nations that the world mustn’t fall into a “trap of clash between civilizations,” adding that countries must “join hands” instead in order to overcome the COVID-19 crisis.

“China doesn’t have the intention to fight a cold or warm war with any country,” Xi concluded his speech to the UN.
