EU consumer confidence brightens in September
The Consumer Confidence index for the euro area landed at negative 13.9 points in September, an improvement from the previous month, the European Commission revealed in its flash estimate on Tuesday.
For the entire European Union, the figure stood at negative 14.9 points, well below the indicator’s long-term average and 0.6 points higher than in August.
