Biden promises to eliminate Trump’s tax cuts
Former United States Vice President Joe Biden said in his first debate with incumbent President Donald Trump he plans to overturn the tax cuts implemented by the current administration if he takes office.
“Millionaires and billionaires like him, in the middle of COVID crisis, have done very well,” Biden said talking about the head of state, claiming the profligate tax cuts proposed by Trump are the reason why middle-class Americans have been hit by the pandemic more than anyone else.
“You can’t fix the economy until you fix the COVID crisis,” Biden concluded, lambasting the president for wanting to lift coronavirus restrictions in order to restart the economy before the outbreak has been dealt with.
