Xi sends Trump ‘message of sympathy’

Chinese President Xi Jinping sent “a message of sympathy” to United States President Donald Trump and his wife First Lady Melania Trump on Saturday.

Xi added that he and his wife Peng Liyuan wish them to recover quickly from COVID-19.

On Friday, Trump was hospitalized as a precaution and was said to be receiving Remdesivir treatment. Melania Trump is recovering at the White House.
