Erdogan: Turkey supports the oppressed in Karabakh
Turkey supports “the oppressed” side in Nagorno-Karabakh, Ankara’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday.
“We strive day and night for our country to take its deserved place in the global world order. We stand by the oppressed everywhere from Syria to Libya, from the Eastern Mediterranean to the Caucasus,” Erdogan stated.
Earlier, the Turkish president said that his country is supporting Azerbaijan in ongoing clashes with Armenian forces. Meanwhile, Armenia has accused Turkey of running Azeri military operations in the region.
