Another 30,550 virus cases documented in Italy
Italy’s health authorities announced on Wednesday that the number of newly diagnosed coronavirus cases rose by 30,550 since the previous update with the total number of infections thus reaching 790,377.
The overall COVID-19 death toll now stands at 39,764, as 352 fatalities were reported over the last 24 hours.
A total of 307,378 patients has been cured of the disease since the beginning of the pandemic, the official data also revealed.
