Tesla hits bottom in Consumer Reports survey
Tesla Inc. fell by two spots in Consumer Reports Magazine’s annual reliability study after its Model Y crossover was reported to have body-hardware and paint issues.
Jake Fisher, senior director of auto testing at Consumer Reports stated these are not typical problems for new models and added it is “really disappointing when you spend this much money for a car and hopefully they’ll be able to rectify a lot of these as time goes by.”
Tesla is now at the 25th spot out of 26 brands rated in the US market. The last one is Ford Motor Co’s Lincoln luxury brand.
