Spahn: Germany may start vaccination before year end
German Health Minister Jens Spahn said that the vaccination against COVID-19 in the country could start before the end of the year.
“There is reason to be optimistic that there will be approval for a vaccine in Europe this year,” Spahn told RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland. “And then we can start right away,” he added.
Earlier, Spahn noted that Germany will not make vaccination against the coronavirus compulsory.
