Japan’s industrial production up 3.8% in October
Japan’s industrial production index landed at 95 in October, jumping 3.8% compared to the previous month’s revised figure, the country’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said in its revised report published on Monday. The figure is below expectations of a rise of 4% in industrial production.
According to the data, the Asian nation’s industrial production fell 3.2% on a yearly basis.
In October, the shipments index was up 4.6% month on month, while inventories declined by 1.6%. The inventory ratio index declined 3% compared to the figure seen in October.
