Syria: Israel behind missile attack in central region
The Syrian Air Defense Force (SyADF) accused its Israeli counterparts (IDF) of launching a missile attack that hit the city of Masyaf in the Hama Governorate after a series of explosions in that region was reported earlier in the night.
“Our air defenses intercepted the missiles and downed most of them,” the SyADF’s statement added.
Several weeks ago, Syria accused Israel of conducting an attack in the city of Al-Quneitra, as well as in the countryside near the capital Damascus.
