India adds 23,067 COVID cases, 336 deaths in a day
Data from India’s Health and Family Welfare Ministry showed 23,067 people tested positive for the coronavirus disease in the country on Thursday.
The nation’s total rises to 10,146,845 with the newly registered cases included, which makes India the country second most affected by the pandemic worldwide, having confirmed fewer infections only in comparison to the United States.
The cumulative number of deaths increased to 147,092 after the health officials confirmed 336 additional virus-related fatalities, while recoveries reached 9,717,834, up by 24,661 in the twenty-four hours since the last update was released.
