Tesco wants to help roll out vaccine in UK
Britain’s biggest supermarket Tesco said on Thursday it is ready to help roll out the Oxford vaccine in order to help the country become immunized faster.
The supermarket’s subsidiary Best Food Logistics told UK ministers it has the infrastructure meaning the network of refrigerated trucks and warehouses. The company sees that as a part of its contribution to give the newly authorized AstraZeneca vaccine to millions of people by April.
Also, some other companies such as hotels and conference centers have offered their venues as sites for mass vaccinations to be carried out.
