RDIF: Hungary still willing to buy Sputnik V vaccine – report
Hungary remains committed to purchasing Gamaleya Institute’s Sputnik V vaccine against the coronavirus, TASS reported on Thursday citing an unnamed Russian Direct Investment Fund’s (RDIF) official to dismiss claims about Budapest’s alleged reluctance to secure the world’s first authorized COVID-19 jab.
According to the source, the RDIF is prepared to supply all vaccine doses Hungary agreed to purchase, adding it will take until January-March 2021 for the full volume to be delivered.
“RDIF is working with regulators to obtain regulatory approvals in Hungary,” the official underscored.
