Spahn: We must curb spread of new virus strains
German Health Minister Jens Spahn (pictured) stressed on Wednesday the government and the public alike must do “everything we can” to curb the spread of new variants of COVID-19.
To achieve so, people would need to reduce contact with others for another two or three months, while the existing measures would have to remain active past February 1, he explained.
Earlier this month, Spahn stated the government was planning to inoculate every German citizen against COVID-19 by the summer of this year.
