Maas: EU-Russia relations at a low point

Germany’s Foreign Minister Heiko Maas noted on Monday that the relations between the European Union and Russia are at a low point.

Speaking ahead of an EU Foreign Ministers meeting in Brussels, Maas revealed that he supports preparing additional sanctions against Moscow.

However, Russia is needed “to settle many international conflicts” and the bloc “must look for ways to stay in dialogue with” the Kremlin, Germany’s top diplomat added.
