France might halt Australia vaccine export like Italy – minister
French Health Minister Olivier Veran (pictured) warned on Friday his country might halt its export of AstraZeneca PLC and Oxford University’s vaccine against COVID-19 to Australia like Italy did to avoid further shortages in doses.
His remarks come after the reports Rome had blocked its shipments of the aforementioned jab to the country in the southern atmosphere following the European Union’s modification of its regiment of exports of treatments.
Meanwhile, Australian Health Minister Greg Hunt stated Canberra had complained to the European Commission over the matter “through multiple channels, and in particular, we have asked the European Commission to review this decision.”
