Johnson & Johnson announced on Thursday that the company is “committed” to supplying the European Union with 200 million doses of its single-shot coronavirus vaccine by the end of the year.
Delivery of the vaccine is expected to begin in the second half of April, the company added.
Earlier, the European Union granted conditional authorization to the J&J vaccine after it was approved for use by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
