Blinken: China’s actions threaten global ‘stability’
United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken asserted on Thursday that Beijing’s actions threaten global “stability.”
Ahead of the first meeting between China and the US since President Joe Biden took office, Blinken stated he will raise issues concerning Uygurs in Xinjiang, threats to Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as the supposed Beijing-backed cyberattacks.
Earlier today, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said a potential meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and his US counterpart won’t be discussed at the meeting.
