Chief revenue officer leaving Facebook
Facebook Inc. Chief Revenue Officer David Fischer announced on Tuesday that he will be leaving the company “toward the end of this year.”
Fischer is in charge of the advertising division of the social media giant and “manages the Sales and Marketing teams worldwide,” according to Facebook.
Ahead of joining the company eleven years ago, he was Google LLC’s vice president of global online sales and operations and before that, served as deputy chief of staff of the United States Treasury Department and an advisor to the secretary of the Treasury.
