Brazil adds 82,186 COVID cases, 3,808 deaths
Brazilian health authorities revealed that 82,186 people in the country tested positive for the COVID-19 during the past twenty-four hours.
The figure brings the nation’s total to 13,599,994 and marks a twofold increase in infections compared to the 30,884 cases registered the day before. The cumulative number of fatalities reached 358,425 in the meantime, with another 3,808 deaths attributed to the virus.
During the same time period, recoveries increased to a total of 12,074,798, as the number of people hospitalized rose to 1,166,771.
