Biden: Economic recovery quicker than expected
United States President Joe Biden insisted on Friday that the latest jobs report for April showed the economic recovery is moving faster than expected.
Biden noted that the economy is going in the right direction, however, stressing that there is still a way to go. The data also said that the American economy is not at risk of “overheating,” according to Biden.
The president also commented about the American Rescue Plan, saying it was expected to show effects after one year. On the other hand, he concluded, state and local jobs will start coming back already in May.
