CDC recommends schools to continue using masks
The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a recommendation for schools to continue using face masks for the remainder of the academic year as not all students and teachers have been vaccinated.
“All schools should implement and layer prevention strategies and should prioritize universal and correct use of masks and physical distancing,” the CDC said in its updated guidance.
Earlier this week, the CDC decided to ease mask requirements for fully vaccinated people in most indoor spaces.
