Tehran refinery fire leaves 11 injured – official
A fire that broke out at the Tondguyan Oil Refinery south of Tehran, Iran has resulted in 11 injuries so far, as the blaze hasn’t been put out after more than 24 hours, the country’s emergency authorities revealed on Thursday.
The fire erupted on Wednesday, with a leak on one of the emergency lines of the liquefied gas pinpointed as the cause of the incident.
The area around the fuel tanker has been secured, according to the local media. It is expected for the fire to be quenched after the fuel runs out.
