US shares turn higher in premarket trading
Shares on Wall Street started climbing late in the premarket session on Friday following a subdued start earlier in the day.
Cruise operators started to gain after Canada announced ships can return to its shores in November, while coronavirus vaccine maker Moderna surged throughout today’s premarket trading on news the company would be included in the S&P 500 index next week.
The Dow Jones was up 0.16% at 8:20 am ET. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 gained 0.22% while the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 advanced 0.25% after all three indices stood flat in early premarket trade.
