Brazil adds 43,033 new virus cases, 990 deaths

Brazil has registered 43,033 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, the country’s Health Ministry unveiled, adding that there were 990 deaths attributed to the virus during the same time.

Brazil’s COVID death toll remained the third-highest in the world, behind the United States and India, with 562,752 fatalities recorded to date.

Since the pandemic started, 20,151,779 people in Brazil tested positive for the virus.
