UK PM celebrates trilateral defense partnership with US, Australia
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in a press briefing welcomed the new trilateral defense partnership between the United Kingdom, Australia and the United States created for the purpose of “leveling up.”
“We will have a new opportunity to reinforce Britain’s place in the leading age of science and technology,” said Johnson.
He explained that creating nuclear-powered submarines for Australia will be “one of the most complex and technically demanding projects in the world,” adding that it will require the expertise acquired by the UK for years.
