Israel’s Bennett: Iran has crossed all red lines
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett remarked on Monday that Iran has crossed “all the red lines” when it comes to its lack of commitment to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) while stressing his country will not allow Tehran to acquire a nuclear weapon.
Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly, Bennett urged the international community to act more firmly on the matter. He also noted Israel has not ruled out the option of acting on its own against Iran. “Iran’s nuclear program has hit a watershed moment, and so has our tolerance,” Bennett stated. “Words do not stop centrifuges from spinning.”
Back in August, Bennett and United States President Joe Biden promised they will work together to prevent Iran from developing nuclear arms.
