UK government looking to ease supply chain issues
British finance minister Rishi Sunak said on Monday that the government is looking to find ways to ease supply chain problems that have been affecting the global economy.
Commenting on the state of employment in the United Kingdom, Sunak noted the labor market is progressing well on its path to moving to a higher-wage economy.
The remarks come hours after The Guardian reported Sunak is set to announce a £500 million extension to his jobs plan later today.
