US, Japan blast North Korea’s missile test
The United States and Japan criticized on Tuesday North Korea’s missile launch which took place earlier during the day.
The US Indo-Pacific Command issued a statement and called the test a “destabilizing act.” It also noted that the launch didn’t pose an immediate threat to either Washington or its allies.
Yoshihiko Isozaki, Japan’s deputy chief cabinet secretary, expressed protest, asserting that the incident “violates the United Nations Security Council’s resolutions.”
