Report: J&J planning to split into two companies
Johnson and Johnson (J&J) is planning to split into two companies in the near future, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on Friday, citing sources familiar with the matter.
The corporation is allegedly preparing to divide its business into a part focused on medical treatments and devices and one dedicated to consumer goods.
The report follows similar allegations about Royal Dutch Shell PLC and confirmations from Toshiba Corporation and General Electric Company (GE).
