EIA: Crude oil inventories in US down by 910k barrels
Commercial crude oil stockpiles in the United States decreased by 910,000 barrels to 433.1 million barrels in the week ending November 26, the US Energy Information Administration reported on Wednesday.
For the same period, crude oil imports averaged 6.6 million barrels per day last week, which is a weekly gain of 168,000 barrels. Gasoline production decreased to 9.6 million barrels per day. Total commercial petroleum inventories increased by 4.3 million barrels last week.
Lastly, crude oil refinery inputs in the US averaged 15.6 million barrels per day, dropping by 9,000 barrels per day when compared to the average registered the previous week. Refineries operated at 88.8% of their operable capacity.
