G7 condemns Russia’s military build-up
The Group of Seven (G7) countries issued a joint statement on Sunday condemning Russia’s military build-up near the border of Ukraine.
The statement called on Russia to “de-escalate, pursue diplomatic channels, and abide by its international commitments on transparency of military activities.”
Lastly, the G7 also stated that any further military aggression by Russia against Ukraine would have “massive consequences” and would be a violation against international law.
