‘Principle agreement’ on Korean War-end reached – Moon
South Korean President Moon Jae-in said that the United States, China and North Korea have agreed in principle on declaring a formal end to the Korean War.
Moon noted that he sees the declaration as a step towards restarting Pyangyang’s stalled nuclear negotiations with Washington and Seoul.
Back in September, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s sister, Kim Yo-jong, said that the North is prepared to organize another round of talks with the South and declare a formal end to the seven-decades-long conflict.
