Tesla files for trademark for audio equipment – report
Tesla Inc. has applied for a new trademark to cover audio equipment that could be sold under the company brand, Electrek reported on Thursday.
If approved, products such as microphones, headphones, earphones, digital audio players, audio speakers, megaphones and other audio equipment with “TESLA” and “T” logos could appear on the market, according to the report.
On the other hand, the media outlet warned that filing for new trademarks doesn’t necessarily mean that they would be used at all, pointing to the possibility of Tesla only planning to use trademarked audio equipment in its own cars.
