Nadal into Australian Open final after beating Berrettini

Spain’s Rafael Nadal defeated on Friday Matteo Berrettini from Italy 6–3, 6–2, 3–6, 6–3 to reach the final of the 2022 Australian Open.

In the match for the trophy, the World No. 5 will meet the winner of the semi-final encounter between Daniil Medvedev from Russia and Stefanos Tsitsipas from Greece.

Nadal won the title in Melbourne once before, in 2009, and reached four more finals.
