Ireland to ban Russian flights from its airspace
Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defense Simon Coveney said on Sunday that Ireland will also shut off its airspace to all Russian aircraft. He called on other European partners to do the same, condemning “shocking Russian attacks on Ukraine overnight.”
Finland is the latest country to announce it will close its airspace, after other states bordering Russia and Belarus resorted to the measure, including Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
