4,300 Russian servicemen killed or injured – Ukraine
Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar claimed on Sunday that around 4,300 Russian military personnel were killed or injured in Ukraine from February 24 to 26. She added Russia lost 27 aircraft, 26 helicopters, 146 tanks, and 706 armored combat vehicles, among other equipment.
However, Malyar stressed the exact number is difficult to obtain in a timely manner. “We can get information only after the end of the battle, and the battles are extremely long in time. Data can be received the next day and sometimes every other day. In addition, if the battle lasted at night and began on one calendar date on the other hand, it is quite difficult to separate on which day certain losses occurred,” she stated.
