Musk: Increase in oil and gas supply essential
Tesla Inc. CEO and billionaire Elon Musk shared on Friday that it is of essence to rise the oil and gas production in order to properly address the crisis caused by the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
“We need to increase oil & gas output immediately. Extraordinary times demand extraordinary measures,” said Musk in a tweet. He further added that although such actions would have an adverse impact on Tesla Inc., “sustainable energy solutions simply cannot react instantaneously to make up for Russian oil & gas exports.”
Due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the growing sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation, oil and gas prices have been soaring recently.
