Ukraine troops shell LPR, DPR regions – officials
The self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic stated that there were two new cases of shelling of inhabited areas by Ukrainian troops in the region on Friday, reported RIA Novosti.
“From the side of the armed formations of Ukraine, two shellings were recorded at two settlements of the republic,” Luganks officials shared.
Additionally, the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic officials stated on Saturday that during the previous day 37 shellings were carried out on the Donetsk region, leaving civilians injured and damaging numerous houses, according to TASS news agency.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian officials previously shared that Russia’s military operations in the Donetsk area have been partially successful, as Ukraine “temporarily” lost access to the Sea of Azov.
