Trump says Health Sec Azar won’t be fired
United States President Donald Trump assured on Sunday that Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar will not be fired as he is “doing an excellent job.”
“Reports that H.H.S. Secretary @AlexAzar is going to be “fired” by me are Fake News. The Lamestream Media knows this, but they are desperate to create the perception of chaos & havoc in the minds of the public. They never even called to ask,” Trump tweeted.
Earlier today, a report said that the Trump administration looks to replace Azar as it sees him responsible for the director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority Rick Bright’s dismissal. Furthermore, some officials were reportedly unsatisfied with the impression he made during the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic in the US.
