Number of US coronavirus deaths climbs by 1,435

The number of coronavirus-related deaths in the United States climbed by 1,435 over the past 24 hours to reach a total of, 66,224, according to Jonhs Hopkins University’s tally.

The total number of COVID-19 infections in the country stood at 1,130,115 as 27,436 new cases were confirmed since the previous day.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered patients rose to 175,382.
