US coronavirus death toll up 779

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the United States rose by 20,039 since yesterday to total 1,329,203, according to the data from Johns Hopkins University.

Out of the overall number, 79,525 people died, with 779 deaths being registered in the past 24 hours.

At the same time, 216,169 people successfully recovered from the virus.
