France’s daily COVID-19 deaths drop to 70
The daily coronavirus death toll in France rose by 70 on Sunday to reach 26,380, according to the French Public Health Agency. The figure marks a decline from yesterday’s daily death toll of 80 and is the lowest since mid-March.
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in France excluding nursing homes rose by 209 since the last update to reach a total of 139,063. With nursing homes cases included, the total number of infections in the country stands at 212,206.
