Italy’s daily coronavirus deaths fall to two-month low
Italy’s coronavirus death toll rose by 165 to 30,560 in the past 24 hours, the country’s health authorities said on Sunday.
The figure marks the country’s lowest daily increase in fatalities since March 9.
Meanwhile, the number of new COVID-19 infections in Italy was up by 802 to reach a total of 219,070. This is the first time in two months that the number of daily cases stood below 1,000.
